Default Rants about our pets!

We love them and they are cute, but they can be evil:

I was in a different room putting stuff away from the store and I thought my hubby was watching Ronin (our evil yellow beast) and my hubby thought I was watching him. Ronin was in the kitchen eating a loaf of bread (he's not allowed to have human food). He got put in time out for awhile. Then after we got back from running another errand, we let him out, and he was being too quiet, so my hubby went out to check on him and he was digging a hole (large enough for him to fit through) and was eating old potatoes out of the trash. When my hubby went out to see what he was doing he started running in large circles for about 10 min with a potatoe still in his mouth. He's crashed out now cause of all the carbs he's ingested...Usually we never leave him unattended, but he was getting better. Good thing he's cute or he'd be a rug by now.

Please post your animals' antics! I would love to know mine is not the only bad one. (he's been to 25 weeks of obedience school and we continue to work with him!)

ps sorry for the long rant.

Bruiser is not quite 9 months old yet. He hasn't quite grasped NO very well.
Well, I had to work all day last Saturday, and when I came home, Bruiser has gottenup on my bed by way of a chair and the night stand. He then ate about 6 mini Reese's PB cups and then puked it all back up on my pillow, which he then chewed a hole in and gutted it. It's a feather pillow. I am still finding them all over the place.
Like you said, it's good thing he's so cute.

Fun Thread!
My almost 1 year old now cat is getting better I think, but he still likes to jump on the counter in the kitchen to get into dishes in the sink or something.... and meow when I'm not coming to yell at him - so that I WILL come yell at him! LOL He likes to attack our feet - especially on stairs. And to bite when he is playing...
My baby turtle is being bad because he keeps trying to die on me and I get all sad and we work so hard to make him comfortable and we keep fighting the battle, and then he takes a swing for the better again! He's on a small upward swing right now - opening his eyes more, moving around his tank a bit, eating a little... BAD turtle. Messing with Tikva...
My hamsters are so misbehaved because we keep them in our bedroom to "protect" them from the cat who seems to be behaving better on that account. But the BAD hamsters like to run on their squeaky wheels in the MIDDLE of the night - what is with that?! HAHA
OK, I'm done ranting

The Creature has been known to become "pissy fishy" some days. I've posted a few of his worst tantrums such as hitting his tank lid so hard it crashed into his aquarium. He has stopped trying to be Shamu since that one. The lastest was ramming his Nemo veggie clip into the rocks (it's still stuck there). How he did it I'll never know, maybe don't want to! As Curtis said, maybe Nemo deserved it.

When he had our cat, Tiger, he was pretty good most days. Although when he was young he was a terror. We had parakeets at the same time and Tiger loved to attack the cages with full body contact. After a stern scolding he learned not to do that. He was so good after that the birds could actually fly around and land in front of him, sort of daring him to strike. He never did.

Oh, the birds. They loved to fling their poops on the wall! Lovely ..

As a kid I had a pet dog, a Fox Terrier. They are known to be high strung. One Christmas he went tearing around a corner and ran right into the tree, knocking it down and breaking many of our heirloom ornaments. Bad Puppy indeed!

I will share how Gandolf our cat got the nickname Gato Diablo...

About a year ago - last Easter, DH bought some beautiful flowers to decorate our entry. They were large so he used our favorite large crystal vase that had been a Wedding gift and spent a lot of time arranging them and then placed them in the entry nook. Gandolf was very intrigued by these beautiful flowers and managed to knock over the vase onto our tile floor along with 2 porcelain Easter eggs. Not only was the vase shattered and the flowers ruined but the tile entry now has a permanent chip in the floor. Then to top it off DH was working on making oak displays for work in the basement (and was almost done) - well the water from the vase managed to drip through the floor and ruined the finish on these oak displays!! Gato Diablo was definately in the "cat house" for the rest of the day!

Oh my gosh!!! It's like the butterfly that flapped its wings in SE Asia and caused a hurricane in the Atlantic!

My female kitty is 15 years old and has lost her ability to make it to the litterbox. Ugh! As soon as she dies I will be getting new carpet most likely.
I need to research diapering her. Yeah, Like that would happen with those sharp claws.

Sorry, had to resurrect this thread, because my evil yellow monster did it again. He needed food, so I thought it would be nice to take him to Petsmart with us. I was looking at a cardboard sale bin, while my hubby was in the check-out line. Ronin jumped at the bin and pushed it over, fortunately I caught that one, but was unable to stop the other bin from falling, scattering tons of little dog lights (seasonal flashers that go on the collars) all over the floor. So my hubby had 50lb bag of dog food on one shoulder and holding an excited dog with his only free hand (Ronin was excited because there was an off leash dog infront of him) but wait that's not all: After we got back home, I get out of the truck and let Ronin out, but come to find out that his leash had become unlatched. He didn't realize it till he was on the front porch, then he took off into our neighbors back yard. The only way we were able to catch him is that there was some furry who-knows-what on the ground and he decided to try to roll on it...he has never done that before...Thanks for hearing me out. I feel better now. Sorry for the long rant.

Now that it's gotten warmer outside, one of my pups has been taking baths in the water bowl. It was cute at first. She sticks her paws in it and makes the water splash around until all the water is out of the bowl. She is going to run our well dry if she keeps this up! My DH is very angry because he's always filling up the water bowl. Hehe. I hope she will soon get bored of this. Anyone else have problems like this?
